Almost 3 dimensional it seem, with the way light and shade was used here. I even read the pulps but that's a different version than the radio program. Very enjoyable continuation of the series - they meet an innocent girl and, as you can guess, things get steamy. I found both his female and male voices to be a delight from the strong male to the soft female you could really feel the pain, sorrow, and happiness he gives them. I liked how the heroine stayed strong through all of the abuse. At the start of the book, the h, a duke's daughter, is nearly 25 and pining for her fiance, who went missing after Waterloo and is presumed dead a year later.
